The place

Near Champs-Elysées subway station, professionals and collectors gather in Paris stamp market on thursdays and week-ends. Apart from post stamps, one can also find postcards or phonecards.

The French post stamp was created in 1849. As soon as 1860, the market throve in the gardens of the Palais-Royal, before settling in its current location in 1887.
