- Look for this trompe-l'œil on Bayen street, when coming from Niel Avenue towards the former castle.
There is not much left of the castle that stood here once. During the XVIIIth century, however, it was the highlight of the neighbourhood, and the current building on Pierre-Demours street dates back from this period.
This building is now crossed over by the Bayen street, on the ground floor, making it a small curiosity in an overall charming neighbourhood surrounding the Ternes Market (8, Lebon street). The latter might be not as glamourous as the Poncelet Market a few blocks away, but still sells top-of-the-line products.
- Chez Kim, le bistrot du marché - Try this little café-restaurant at 8 bis, Lebon street, aside the Ternes market. Young Korean chef Kim has excellent fusion cuisine (Korean and French) to offer in a warm atmosphere where regular customers feel like home.
